Pope Francis proclaimed a special “Year of St. Joseph” and marks the 150th anniversary of Blessed Pope Pius IX’s declaration of Saint Joseph as a Patron of the Universal Church, describing him as a model father and a support and guide for troubled times.

Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man.
Blessed Joseph, to us too,
show yourself a father
and guide us in the path of life.

Those included are the Knights of Columbus for cooking, Ruth Mooney, Lillian, Lucille and Janet Leroux for decorating and preparing the event and Ben O’Brien for providing music. Also thanks to the many people who donated their time and treasure to this celebration. You are truly appreciated!

Tom Garvin! Baptized and Confirmed during Easter Vigil Tom is pictured here with his wife Candice. We welcome to the fullness of Christian life to Tom Garvin, who received the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. Having reached his goal of full Church membership, Tom will continue to deepen his faith experience through the Mystagogia Period of the RCIA Process, in which he will participate until next Easter.
Thank You to all who helped make Mardi Gras a festive gathering! From the 8 youth, plus adults who helped with the set up, serving and cleaning! To all those who joined us on Saturday for the delicious food! Thank you all! May our Lenten journey be as dramatic!

Summer Youth & Family Activities
The inaugural Summer Youth and Family Activities Program 2016 was a success! Students in Grade 6 and higher and their families culminated the program with a day of hiking, swimming, cookout, and campfire at Steele Hill Resorts. During the summer they hiked to Lost River Gorge and the Franconia Falls Trail, biked the Rail Trail in Boscawen, visited the LaSalette Shrine, and went to Chucksters in Chichester and Canobie Lake Park!
