St. Vincent de Paul needs volunteers -- people who perform or give their services of their own free will. Volunteers are involved in a wide range of activities, the sole objective of which is to provide help to those who need it. Financial resources are provided by the Thrift Store operations and cash donations. All volunteers, including the president, officers and board members are UNPAID. Volunteers may offer their services to one or more of the following operations: Thrift Store, Food Pantry, Financial Assistance, Rosalie Rendu Program, and Children's Foundation. We need more volunteers. The ideal would be a donation of your time on a regular basis - no matter what amount of time you have available. For an appointment and interview, call Erika Johnson, President, at 603-524-5470 on Tuesday - Friday from 10am - 4pm and on Saturday from 10am - 3pm. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate)
CASA of NH trains concerned citizens to advocate for abused and neglected children in the courts. There are children waiting for someone to speak on their behalf. Your common sense, commitment to children and a contribution of 10-12 hours a month will help ensure a child grows up in a safe permanent home. To become a CASA volunteer and help the children in your community, please call 1-800-626-0622 or apply at casanh.org. |
